Subseries consists of photographs taken at BCVS and PVI. Images include students, buildings, machines, visitors, and Board members. Photographs were originally described by subject; this has been retained. Most appear to have been taken for use in the PVI publication Perspective. Series includes black and white, and colour prints, colour slides, negatives and contact sheets.

This series consists of teaching materials created or acquired by Fernando Vachon for teaching Aircraft Maintenance at PVI. These materials include handwritten notes, photocopied reference materials, journal and newspaper clippings, technical drawings, quiz and exam templates, students’ exams, and books. The majority of these files were categorized by Vachon by subject, including Sheet Metal, Ice Prevention, Propellers, Tires, Pneumatics. Subjects either correspond to course names, or subjects of units taught within these courses.

The Board of Governors approves all academic policies, most general policies and significant administrative policies. Subseries consists of policies and procedures and working files.

Subseries comprised of reports and presentations made to the Board of Governors for internal review and to the BCIT Community regarding actions taken by the Board of Governors. As well as summaries of the Board of Governors for public consumption compiled and released by the Board Secretary. Distribution of this publication was discontinued in 1979 after which the role of reporting to the BCIT community of Board activities became part of "BCIT Developments." Includes statements issued by the Board of Governors to the BCIT community as well as the general public.

Subseries consists of BCIT full-time calendars between 1964 and 2007. Between 1964 and 2004 this publication was called the BCIT Full-time Programs calendar. In the Fall of 2004 the format and name of this publication was changed to Path Finder. In 2007 the title was changed to Viewbook. This publication provide prospective and current students with information on the services, locations, and programs offered as well as entrance requirements, fees and course prerequisites. Full-time calendars (from 1965-66 to 2006-07) are available in digital PDF format. NOTE: The 1964-1965 digital full-time calendar is missing. The 1965-1966 print full-time calendar is missing. The 1975-1976 digital full-time calendar is missing. The 1979-1980 print and digital full-time calendar is missing. The 2000-2001 digital full-time calendar is missing. Subseries includes records about executive-level presentations prepared and given by BCIT’s Deans, Directors, Vice-Presidents, and the President, usually related to BCIT, management, or related topics. Documents include speeches, lectures, and addresses.

Subseries consists of materials related to special events and ceremonies at BCIT. Documents include items from the 1984-1985 BCIT 20th Anniversary time capsule that was opened in 2014-10-04.

Subseries contains the time capsule items that were housed in a specially built concrete block and box in the BCIT Burnaby Campus Square. Time capsule was opened as part of BCIT's 50th anniversary celebrations in the fall of 2014.

Subseries documents the relationship between both the Federal and Provincial Governments with BCIT. Documents include legislation, reports, correspondence and press releases issued by various government departments, such as the Ministry of Education.

This subseries consists of annual reports produced between 1974 and 2011. In 2002 the name was changed to Annual Review.

Subseries includes records about official BCIT visitors and tours hosted or attended by BCIT at the senior executive level (e.g., overseas trade missions). It includes visits and tours to the BCIT facility and also tours abroad taken by BCIT representatives. Documents include reports and presentations.
