Shows nursing students how to perform correctly each of the following tasks: 1. tie knots for securing the ends of a restraint to a bed, chair, or wheelchair; 2. apply two types of jacket restraints for a patient in a bed, wheelchair, or ordinary chair; 3. apply a clove hitch restraint for wrist or ankle; 4. apply a wheelchair hip belt; and 5. restrain a patient's hands using a sheet, gown, or other bedding.
Illustrates the diverse ecology of the Burnaby lakes drainage systems. Features Deer Lake and Burnaby Lake. Shows students from BCIT Fish and Wildlife program involved in preserving this unique system in conjunction with the efforts of the City of Burnaby and those of the public at large.
