Application of safety restraints

Shows nursing students how to perform correctly each of the following tasks: 1. tie knots for securing the ends of a restraint to a bed, chair, or wheelchair; 2. apply two types of jacket restraints for a patient in a bed, wheelchair, or ordinary chair; 3. apply a clove hitch restraint for wrist or ankle; 4. apply a wheelchair hip belt; and 5. restrain a patient's hands using a sheet, gown, or other bedding.
