The BCIT artifacts and ephemera collection consists of plaques, trophies, clothing, framed items and objects relevant to the history of BCIT, PVI and BCVS. These items have been transferred to the BCIT Archives since its' founding.

Collection includes items relevant to the history of Guichon Creek (also known as Kyle Creek) digitized by the BCIT Archives. Many items in this collection are edited, color-corrected or otherwise enhanced digital copies that exist in the BCIT Archives Photograph Collection 23.
Collection also includes ephemera from BC Rivers Day and World Rivers Day.

BCIT historical audio, video and film collection

The BCIT historical audio, video & film collection consists of over 100 videos, 30 films and 30 audio original recordings. The majority of these were produced by BCIT’s Audiovisual Department, Learning Resources Unit, and Marketing. The remaining media were created mostly by local professional videographers, alumni, and faculty. Nearly all of the audio and video works document the educational history of BCIT.

The digital collection contains a few of these works that have been digitized, and is steadily growing.

Collection includes more than 250, 000 photographs dating from the founding of the Institute, in 1964, to the present day. They offer a visual record of BCIT's growth and development, our relationships with industry and the community, and include images of student life, construction of the campuses and campus events.
