Deanna B. George is a Tsleil-Waututh Nation Elder who has been weaving since 2009. Deanna started off doing baby blankets for her Nation's annual Baby Celebration; along with speaker blankets used for ceremonies.

From this beginning Deanna has expanded her craft into robes used as gifts, or to barter and as commissioned pieces.

One in particular would be the robe for BCIT. Deanna is happy to note that BCIT is implementing culture and setting the tone for incoming and outgoing presidents of BCIT by blanketing them with the BCIT robe.

Chartrand, Dawn

Dawn Marie Chartrand is a visual artist based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and is from Rolling River First Nation. A married mom and proud koko (grandmother).

Dawn began painting in 2017 and was inspired to express her visions, dreams and experiences through art. Dawn is a singer/songwriter, musical entertainer, and a certified Yoga and Laughing Yoga Instructor.

Oskineegish, Jim

Jim Oskineegish is an Ojibwe artist who is a registered member of the Eabametoong First nation which is located in northwestern Ontario. He paints in the Shamanistic Woodland style using bold lines and bright colours. Oskineegish enjoys painting legends and stories of his people and hopes his art can bridge a universal understanding of love, faith, and unity. Aspiring to promote Ahnisnabae culture to the world.

Littlechild, George

Born in Edmonton Alberta, Littlechild is Cree artist who was separated from his family in childhood, as part of the Sixties Scoop. His artistic talent was encouraged and supported by his foster family. As an adult he began reconnecting with his heritage. Cree culture became both the basis of his career as a visual artist and the lens through which he came to terms with his identity as a two-spirit man.
