Dr John D. Dennison served as part of the UBC Vancouver Senate in the 2000’s. He was a UBC professor of higher education prior to that—and spoke out in favour of the BCIT Act of 1974, saying the College and Provincial Institutes Act of 1977 was not an acceptable alternative.
